Is there a pet in your family named Bella or Buddy? What about a Max or Ruby? Rent.com.au has released the most popular names for pets with a Pet Resume.
As we’ve unpacked in other articles, Rent.com.au’s Pet Resume is the best way to show off your pet’s expert training, vaccinations and past references to improve your chance of application success.
This pet profile for renters has come a long way! Today, more than 200,000 pets have a Pet Resume on Rent.com.au.
To celebrate hitting 200,000 of our most furry and scaly friends on Pet Resume, we dug into our database to determine which names were leading the pack.
For dogs, there’s no contest. Bella is easily the most popular dog name. In fact, there are almost twice as many Bella’s as the next best choice, Buddy.
Since we last unpacked this data, there’s been a slight shift in the most popular name for cats. While there’s a degree of crossover for both dogs and cats, Bella has dropped to the second favourite under Luna in 2021.
