Renter Stories is a series where we peek inside the homes of some of the coolest renters we know. From zen oases to vintage digs, we find out why they rent where they do – and how they make it work for them.

“I choose the rental lifestyle in the city over owning a home in the suburbs because I like nice things and the freedom to be able to travel or move when opportunities arise,” Morgan said.
What makes your rental a *home* to you?
“The details that I put into it and the way it represents my style. As a stylist, I always look at detailing and where I can put things to create texture and little moments thought out my apartment.”
> Mel’s Claremont rental is overflowing with character
> Dana’s Elizabeth Bay rental has the romantic air of an artist’s apartment
> Wade’s Darlinghurst home cuts his commute – and frees up time for living
What are the most important attributes you look at in a rental?
“A nice kitchen and bathroom are incredibly important to me. Having a secure car space in Centennial Park is a huge bonus because the park is such a beautiful thing to have at my doorstep and is often very busy. Also, a large wardrobe is a pretty big necessity for me.“
