Why does renting appeal to you at this time of your life?
“I moved up to Sydney as I’m attending the Australian Film Television and Radio School. Being from Melbourne, I really wanted to experience the full Sydney beach lifestyle,” Mitch said.
“Renting gives me and my housemates the flexibility we need with our busy lifestyles to live where we want.”
“There’s no way we could afford to buy a place in Bronte.“
What makes your rental a *home* to you?
“As with any place, I think it’s the people you live with that make a home. Also a good vibe, which this place has in spades. It’s like a treehouse, and it’s so nice to be able to see the water. “
What are the most important attributes you look at in a rental?
“For us, it was natural light and proximity to the beach. We also try and get down to the local high street as much as possible, and being near spots like Frank’s Deli and Bogey Hole Café is a massive win.“
