renter resume rental-application

Renting is easier when you have a Renter Resume. Create it once, and use it to apply for as many properties as you like.

What is a Renter Resume?

A Renter Resume is a personal rental application form designed to help you stand out next time you apply for a rental property. You only need to create your Renter Resume once and you can use it to apply for as many properties as you like.

How can a Renter Resume help you find a rental property?

Renter Resume, a tenant application form on Australian rental property website Rent.com.au, is the easiest way to show why you’re the best applicant for a property.

Searching for a place to rent can be a stressful experience for anyone, no matter how experienced they are at house hunting. Enquiries, emails, phone calls and rental viewings can add to the overwhelm of the moving experience – not to mention the time you spend filling out a new application every time you find a property you like.

Once you’ve filled out your rental application form, you have complete control to edit and review your profile. More importantly, you can instantly generate property enquiries and applications with the click of a button. Rather than being another name on a list of rental candidates, your application will really stand out.

How does it work?

As a Rent.com.au user, your personalised Renter Resume can improve your chance of success when you next apply for a property. When you get started, you’ll be asked to fill in answers to some standard tenancy application questions.

Your responses will be visible to a prospective landlord or property manager when you send an application online through Rent.com.au. This information is secure and is only accessible by you unless you choose to share it with a landlord or property manager.

More than 600,000 people across Australia have now created their own renting profile application, Renter Resume on Rent.com.au.

What sort of information should I include in my Renter Resume?

Information you can choose to include in your Renter Resume includes (but is not limited to):

You are in control of how much (or how little) information you wish to include. Remember, the more information you provide, the greater your chances are of appealing to a prospective landlord or property manager. Renter Resume is designed to be a simple, fun experience and is available on the Rent app and on mobile and desktop.

Can I create a Renter Resume if I’ve never rented before?

You don’t need to have rented before to create a Renter Resume. Rather than adding rental history to your residential history section, simply enter your current address. It’s not a problem if that address is not a rental and you’re living with your parents.
