renter resume rental-application

Renting is easier with a Renter Resume. Create it once, and use it to apply for as many properties as you like.

What is a Renter Resume?

A Renter Resume is a personal rental application form designed to help you stand out next time you apply for a rental property. You only need to create your resume once, and you can use it to apply for as many properties as you like.

How can a Renter Resume help you find a rental property?

Renter Resume, a tenant application form on the Australian rental property website Rent.com.au, is the easiest way to show why you’re the best applicant for a property.

Searching for a place to rent can be stressful for anyone, no matter how experienced they are at house hunting. Enquiries, emails, phone calls, and rental viewings can add to the overwhelm of the moving experience – not to mention the time you spend filling out a new application every time you find a property you like.

Once you’ve filled out your rental application form, you have complete control to edit and review your profile. More importantly, you can instantly generate property enquiries and applications with the click of a button. Rather than being another name on a list of rental candidates, your application will stand out.

How does it work?

As a Rent.com.au user, your personalised resume can improve your chance of success when you next apply for a property. You’ll be asked to fill in answers to some standard tenancy application questions when you get started.

Your responses will be visible to a prospective landlord or property manager when you send an application online through Rent.com.au. This information is secure and is only accessible by you unless you choose to share it with a landlord or property manager.

What sort of information should I include in my Renter Resume?

Information you can choose to include in your Renter Resume includes (but is not limited to):

You are in control of how much (or how little) information you wish to include. Remember, the more information you provide, the greater your chances are appealing to a prospective landlord or property manager. This is designed to be a simple, fun experience available on the Rent app and mobile and desktop.

How do I start a Renter Resume?

If you’re an existing Rent.com.au member, login with your username and password and click Create a Renter Resume. We’ll step you through the process. If you’re new to Rent.com.au, follow the prompts on our sign-up page to create your account. You can use your email address or Facebook account.

Can I create a resume if I’ve never rented before?

You don’t need to have rented before to create a Renter Resume. Rather than adding rental history to your residential history section, enter your current address. It’s not a problem if that address is not a rental and you’re living with your parents.
