What’s the offer?
If you organise your electricity or gas with AGL before you move, rent.com.au will throw in a $100 e-gift card for FREE*.
Who is the offer available to?
* The e-gift card offer is available to residential customers who have elected to connect electricity or gas using “RentConnect” with rent.com.au. Only available in areas where AGL operates. Customers must arrange their energy connection directly with AGL and remain on the chosen energy plan for 30 days following their connection date. Limit of one gift card per customer. Not available in conjunction with restricted AGL offers.
I haven’t found a new place yet. Can I still use RentConnect?
Yes you can. We need your new address to finalise your connection, but by opting-in now we can get the process started. And we’ll remind you how to claim your $100 e-gift card when you have a moving date.
I am already an AGL customer. Does this offer still apply to me?
Yes, if you’re moving home, AGL can arrange your gas or electricity move from your current home to your new home. And you’ll still be eligible to receive a $100 e-gift card from rent.com.au.
Why are you offering me an e-gift card?
When you connect your electricity or gas with AGL, rent.com.au will send you a $100 e-gift card. It’s our way of saying thanks for using rent.com.au.
What happens once I complete the form?
When will I receive my $100 e-gift card?
We’ll send your e-gift card in an email 30 days after your AGL connection has gone live.
Where can I use the e-gift card?
You can use it at dozens of retailers, including Coles, Woolworths, Myer, David Jones, JB Hifi, Target, Kmart, Bunnings, Big W – literally dozens of places. You can even split your $100 across a number of different retailers if you like. We’ll send you full details of where and how you can spend your e-gift.
Why move with AGL?
We’ve partnered with AGL because they offer flexible options and will guarantee your electricity will be connected on the day you move.^ But mostly because they get renters and want to take the stress out of moving.
^One business day’s notice and clear, safe meter access required. If electricity’s not on after the agreed day, AGL will cover your related expenses up to $250 per day until it’s on.
Will I be connected on the day I move in?
