When your agent forgot to report the rental bond

Afifa, we asked director of Property Management with LJ Hooker Yarrabilba, Natasha Connors to answer your question:

In this situation, Natasha says communication is the best first step.

“Contact the agent to discuss the reason why the Bond was not lodged within the required timeframe and in any case, contact the RTA to report the agent’s negligence,” she said.

“Legislation is very particular as to when/how bonds need to be paid by an Agent/Owner.”
