Reader Question:

“Who is responsible for putting the green rubbish and recycle bins out the front of an apartment complex? Ours have not been put out in over a month!” – Sarah

Who should put the bins out?

Sarah, we asked Principal at Ray White South Perth, Lisa Kerr for her insight into your question:

“Sarah, the bins are the responsibility of the tenant if rented or owner if owner occupied – to place the bins out for bin day, however some strata complexes have a caretaker/onsite manager who may do this,” Lisa said.

To find out who is responsible “I would suggest looking at your strata by-laws for this information or contacting your strata company to clarify for your apartment complex.”
