“Does the quality of my property affect my RentBond application?”

This week, Dave asked, “Can I get RentBond if I get a better place to live in?”

Not at all. If you’re moving to a new place, you’re eligible to apply for RentBond. RentBond is a great way to maintain your cash flow, by paying off your bond amount over 3, 6 or 12 months instead of having to pay the entire bond now.

While anyone can apply for RentBond, the only reasons that a RentBond applicant wouldn’t be successful are:

  1. The agent you use chooses not to use RentBond
  2. You don’t meet the criteria for a RentBond approval (note: no credit check is required)

RentBond approvals are based more on the applicant, rather than the quality of the property that you’re moving into.

Having said that, the majority of our RentBond applications have helped many renters over the years smoothly transition into a new rental.

We look forward to helping you with the bond for your new rental property.
