How much does end of lease cleaning cost?

If you’re time-poor or would prefer to have a professional step in, moving out cleaning services are available. The cost of a bond clean varies based on your location, the size of your home, and how much cleaning is needed.

Moving out cleaning services in Australia will typically charge either a flat fee ranging from $200 to $1,000 or an hourly rate between $20-50.

Carpet steam cleaning can also be charged per sqm or as a flat fee, depending on the number of rooms you have.

Window cleaning may be included as part of an end of lease clean, but if not, this will be charged as a flat fee by the hour. The cost of a window clean will vary depending on the number and size of windows, the ease of access to the windows and the amount of dirt to clean.

Hot tip: Don’t accept the first quote you’re given. Get quotes from at least three different cleaning professionals in your area to find the best price for your property and needs.

  1. I am the worst housekeeper… I am going to try these steps to see if it helps me. It sure can’t hurt~

  2. How much do house cleaners charge per hour in Australia? Is it worth hiring a cleaner or buying a product to do your own cleaning?

  3. I wish all the places I’ve rented over the past 35 years were this clean when I moved in. I’ve always had to clean the new house as well as clean the old house. It’s not fair when the house is dirty already before you even move in and then you’re expected to leave it super clean.

  4. Great tips and ideas before you move out. I will definitely bookmark this as we’ll be moving out shortly.

  5. This is the first time I have rented an apartment and didn’t know you had to clean the whole place before you leave.
