COVID-19 restrictions were recently in force for South Australia. If you rent in SA, here’s where to get tenancy support.

The Australian Government Chief Medical Officer, Professor Paul Kelly, declared Metropolitan Adelaide a COVID-19 Hotspot for an initial period of 7 days from 11:59 PM on 20 July 2021 until 11:59 PM on 27 July 2021.

The SA Government says it will also provide $600 weekly support payments to workers in regional South Australia, after areas outside of Adelaide were left out of the Commonwealth “hotspot” declaration, meaning they miss out on federal support. Read more about the COVID-19 Disaster Payment here.

Information about Government support will be available on the SA Treasury website.

What ongoing restrictions are in place?

South Australia is currently under Level 3 restrictions.
