Living in Queensland and planning to move? No matter whether you’re in Brisbane or Bowen, RentBond makes paying your rental bond and moving costs simple.

RentBond is a rental bond loan. It’s the simplest way for tenants to pay their rental bond, two weeks rent-in-advance and any other moving costs via a personal loan, which is repaid over time.

RentBond loans are simple and 100% online. This makes it easy to apply anytime, no matter where you are in Queensland. We’re all about convenience, so all you need to do is complete our simple application form to get started.

How do I know if I’m eligible for a rental bond loan?

RentBond is available Australia-wide. Apply for a RentBond through rent.com.au and we’ll see if we can help!

Our financial partner, Fair Go Finance is committed to assessing your application quickly, so you can secure your rental property as soon as possible. However, there are a couple of tick boxes we require to give your RentBond application the best chance of success.

Do you meet these loan requirements?

  • Be 18 years of age or older and living in Australia
  • Have not entered into bankruptcy or a part 9 agreement within the last 12 months
  • Be willing to provide your bank statements online. (Please note, bank statements can only be submitted via our secure online service).

Can I get a bond loan interest-free?

RentBond comes with a 21-day interest-free period. If you pay the loan back in full in the first 21 days, it will be completely interest and fee-free. This is a great choice if you’re waiting on your bond to be refunded from your previous place!

If you don’t pay it back in the first 21 days, your loan will have an agreed term with a minimum repayment amount, like a regular personal loan. If you can’t pay it back in 21 days, you can pay it back over the loan term. Interest, fees, and charges will apply.
