If paying extra for a pricey rental complete with a luxurious bathroom isn’t within your budget, there are still plenty of options to create a lust-worthy look without breaking the bank.

Hang a stylish mirror

Mirrors with some personality will help to elevate your space. Check out second hand stores and discount shops for something a little quirky that doesn’t fit the stereotypical mirror mould and see how it adds some flair to your room.

Throw in a touch of brass

Brass and copper are commonly spotted in luxurious bathrooms. Throw in a soap dish, or a little jar to spice things up. They look posh and are easy to maintain too!

Glam it up with glitzy lighting

In many rental properties, overhead lighting options are frequently overlooked. Most of us move in, think about it and then never get around to updating it. The good news is that there are plenty of lighting options available for anyone on a budget. Shake the dust off that old paper IKEA cover and switch it up.

Replace your bathmat

A tired old bathmat is an easy way to make your bathroom seem unkempt. Does yours have holes everywhere? It might be time for a replacement. If it’s within your budget, consider swapping out that terry cloth mat for a Turkish rug. If you can add in some beautiful patterns and colours your bathroom will look beautifully spruced.

Include some glass containers

Give your space an elevated aesthetic by containing your odds and ends in glass jars. Cotton balls look stylish in the most well-appointed of bathrooms. You could even store your toothbrush in a beautiful glass. This will instantly neaten your space.

  1. Some great tips here. Mirrors and lighting can create a totally different mood in your bathroom. Another option is to replace the shower head. Large rain shower heads are in demand for good reason. They make your shower experience more enjoyable! Often times shower heads can be twisted on and off with ease, so you can always replace yours with the original when you change rentals and install your fancy one in your new place too.
