Barry Plant Group recognises talent in their network at 2018 Awards for Excellence
The Barry Plant Group hosted its 2018 Awards for Excellence at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium, with nearly 900 people attending the black-tie event.
The Geelong office had an outstanding night as, apart from their star agent Chari Emirzade taking out Property Management Department of the Year, and many major sales awards, they also won Franchisee of the Year, while Kelly Kules from their office won Business Development Manager of the Year.
Rowville and Mitchell Shire offices were awarded Top Office of the Year awards in their categories. Mitchell Shire also had an amazing five of the top ten Top Sellers in the Sales Person with no PA category.
Harcourts National Conference named a finalist in Australian Event Awards
Harcourts Australia National Conference was confirmed as among the best events in the country with the announcement of National and State Finalists in the 2018 Australian Event Awards.

LJ Hooker celebrates 90 years with ‘brand variations’
Pioneering real estate group LJ Hooker is celebrating 90 years since its first agency opened on the sandy shores of Maroubra, Sydney – the start of a national and international influence in property.
In 1928, then aged 24, Leslie Joseph Hooker had grand plans to develop the largest real estate business in Australia; ready to pioneer innovations in technology, marketing, construction and franchising. His contributions to the commerce and the community would also eventually earn him a knighthood.
Australia/NZ real estate tops GRESB global rankings for the eighth consecutive year
For the eighth consecutive year, Australia and New Zealand’s real estate market was ranked the world’s number one for sustainability in the internationally recognised 2018 GRESB real estate results.
GRESB is the global benchmark for environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of real assets, defining and measuring standards for sustainability performance.
This year the Australia/New Zealand region recorded its highest score of 76, compared with 73 in 2017. The global average was 68, increasing from 65 in 2017 – indicative of our continued world leadership, but also the increasing international recognition of the importance of sustainability reporting.
A record 73 Australian and New Zealand companies reported to GRESB this year, representing a property portfolio worth more than $447 billion.
Ray White Western Australia celebrates excellence in 2018
Ray White celebrated its best performers for the 2017-18 year in front of 400 members and guests at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Perth on Friday 14 September.
Ray White WA CEO Mark Whiteman said that by defying the trend of the worst market in two decades to post a record result, the message from the night was clear: the state’s biggest real estate group was keen to keep growing and getting better.
A number of awards were handed out for property management achievements, including Chris Cork of Ray White Narrogin & Districts for Property Management Rookie of the Year, Thi Phan of Ray White House Team for Property Management Administrator of the Year, Michelle Reck of Ray White Karratha won Property Management Business Development Manager of the Year while Tania Bowler of Ray White Karratha was named Property Manager of the Year.
Ray White Group celebrates its 2018 winners in NSW and ACT
Up to 900 real estate agents and guests last night celebrated their achievements at the annual Ray White New South Wales and ACT awards at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
In property management awards, Ray White Thompson Partners took the top property management Team of the Year accolade.
Kylie Ziino of Ray White Surry Hills won property management Business Development Manager of the Year, while Margie Hawker won Property Manager of the Year for her role at Ray White Double Bay.
Ray White Double Bay had a successful night at the state awards, picking up number one Sydney Blue office for the highest settled commission for the seventh year in a row.
The Individual Client’s Choice awards went to Jake Battenally of Ray White Canberra, while the Canberra office also won the Top Client’s Choice award.
Other awards of the night were won by Ray White Lower North Shore for Administration Team of the Year plus an award for Community Service.
Ray White Queensland celebrates winners
More than 1250 real estate agents and guests attended the prestigious Ray White Queensland annual awards at the Royal International Convention Centre to celebrate the achievements of the top offices and individuals throughout the network.
The Ray White Surfers Paradise team was named as the Property Management Team of the Year, Ray White Mooloolaba was named for its Excellence in Auction, while Wendy Ashworth of Ray White Bridgeman Downs | Albany Creek won Administrator of the Year.
And congratulations to Ross Molloy and Cath Nicholson – both of Ray White Paddington – who celebrated their 40 year milestones with the group.
Ray White South Australia and Northern Territory celebrates its 2018 winners
Almost 500 guests attended the annual Ray White South Australia and Northern Territory state awards at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday 31 August to celebrate the achievements of the top offices and individuals throughout the network.
Awards for the company’s rookies were also presented on the night, with the Best Career Start award going to Ross Whiston from Ray White Gawler | Willaston and Rookie Property Manager of the Year going to Jasmine Molnar of Ray White Marion | Brighton.
Kylie Depledge from Ray White Yorke Peninsula was named Property Manager of the Year in SA, with the Salisbury team also taking the Property Management Team of the Year award in SA | NT. Charlotte Foley of Ray White Darwin was named as Property Manager of the Year in NT.
